In order to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students in Kerala, Government has decided to permit the students who have completed two years in engineering to take a year long break so that they could pursue their dreams of becoming a entrepreneur.
The engineering students there can now take a maximum of one year gap after completing two years of the course for entrepreneur activities or research activities, said by Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb at a seminar on Start Up Policy and Development.
After taking the break, they can return to their studies, he added. ‘Residential Student Entrepreneur programme’ has been very successful in Foreign countries where students can earn a good money while learning.
